Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use Dott Money, provided by Opendott. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.
The service
Dott Money helps you record and understand your own income and expenses, including by voice. It is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, does not move money, and does not give financial, tax or investment advice. Insights and suggestions are general information based on the entries you record.
AI features
Voice, typed-sentence and receipt features use artificial intelligence and can make mistakes, for example mishearing an amount. Always check entries before you save them. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country.
- Don't misuse the service, for example by attacking it, overloading it, or using it for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your entries belong to you. You can export them or delete your account at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Free and paid plans
The core app is free. The free plan includes a monthly allowance of AI entries and may show ads. Pro removes ads and the limits; its price and features are shown before you buy, and purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Dott Money available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We may update or change features. If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you in the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Opendott is not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
